THE ECOLOGICAL STATE OF THE AQUEOUS OBJECTS OF AVERAGE VOLGA REGION ^{[№ 12 ' 2010]}
The authors gave the statistical analysis of the results of the analysiges of the undertaken tests of water from the surface and underground water sources, and also the drinking water based on the example to Saratov region. The steady growth of chemical contaminators in the tap drinking water in recent years is observed. The realization of effective measures for modernization and repair of water-engineering constructions is necessary.

CHARACTERISTICS OF ACCUMULATION OF HEAVY METALS IN SOIL ECOSYSTEMS OF SARATOV VOLGA RIVER REGION ^{[№ 1 ' 2010]}
The paper provides the results of research into accumulation patterns of anthropogenic heavy metals in the black soils and plants on urbanized areas of Saratov Region. The maximum concentration of heavy metals was found in the southern chernozems and in the above plant biomass within the Volga Uplands.

The results of long-term (2002—2009) researches of surface atmosphere quality of urbosystems in Saratov region are given in this article. Polluted to the maximum the cities are in the central part. Increase of maximum permissible concentration of some harmful substances is the reason of children’s sickness spreading.

The article provides results on research into the responses from cardiorespiratory and neuroendocrinal systems in young men living in the districts with different types of anthropogenic impacts on the Saratov Oblast environment. The greatest deviations in the cardiorespiratory and neuroendocrinal systems activity were found in isolated and toxic (Saratov) and irradiation and toxic (Engels) districts of the Oblast.

ENVIRONMENT POLLUTION IMPACT ON THE HEALTH OF POPULATION IN SARATOV REGION ^{[№ 4 ' 2009]}
The article provides the results of the research into environment pollution levels in the Saratov region and its impacts on the health of population. General disease incidence of the urban population living in the Volga river basin exceeds disease incidence of the children in the Hoper river basin in 1,5–2 times. The disease level is higher in the areas with adverse ecological situation.

The authors considered the dynamics of temporal notions in consciousness of speaker and its reflection in Middle English period and Modern English. The concept "Time" is analyzed in frame of conceptual metaphor theory as metaphorical transfer is effective remedy of abstract essence verbalization.

The problem of defining conditions, necessary for students' learning and meeting the aims of education cannot be solved without analyzing the psychological and pedagogical aspects of professional activity formation.
