RESULTS OF PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF THE ACQUIRED MYOPIA USING SIMULATORS "ZENICA" AT THE SCHOOL [№ 12 ' 2015]
The onset and progression of school myopia is an acute social problem. Myopia affects about 35 % of the world population, have high myopia observed in 7 %. Causes of myopia in school age are intense visual loads at close range, wide spread of gadgets schoolchildren from 1 class. According to inspection of schoolchildren 2nd and 3rd classes of a comprehensive school of Izhevsk it was found 29.8 % of those with a myopic refraction. Visual acuity at myopes before treatment was 0.41 and after treatment had risen to 0.42. Moreover, full recovery of visual acuity to 1.0 mentioned in 6.25 % of cases (3 eyes). In emmetropia at the beginning of observation, visual acuity was 0.98, and in the end — 0.96. After the course with TDO "Zenica" noted a significant increase in reserves accommodation 0.6 diopters. Increase of resistance to defocusing for a distance — expansion of a focal zone with the resolution of 40 % in emmetropia –7,0 D and miopy — 5.75 D. The use of TDO "Zenica" marked improvement of visual acuity in children with myopic refraction. In both groups resistance of visual acuity to defocusing for a distance with negative lenses increased. Therefore, resistance to a gipermetropichesky defocus which accelerates growth of an eyeball increased. Possibility of passive adaptation process refractogenesis exist throughout the "period of risk of formation of myopia". Therefore the courses of trainings directed on preservation of balance of visual loadings we recommend to carry out on a constant basis in an age interval from 6–7 to 18–25 years 2 times within a year.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ACTIVITY OF THE LOCAL INFLAMMATORY, IMMUNE AND PROLIFERATIVE PROCESSES IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF PROLIFERATIVE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY [№ 12 ' 2015]
Currently discussed the significance of the activity of the inflammatory process, immune response, imbalance of cytokines and other biologically active substances in the mechanisms of the development of proliferative diabetic retinopathy. However, many aspects of the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy remain insufficiently studied. In addition the relationship between the activity of the inflammatory process, vascular proliferation and disorders of the immune response in the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy are debated and require in-depth study. In the study was established the importance of the local inflammatory and proliferative processes and activation of the immune response in the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, what is confirmed by the presence in the vitreous significantly higher concentrations of interleukin 4, 6, 8, 17A, vascular endothelial growth factor, monocyte chemotactic protein-1, transforming growth factor-beta 2, growth factor pigment epithelium and sIgA. Statistically analysis found presence correlative relationship between markers the reflecting activity immune inflammatory and proliferative processes [VEGF and TGF-β2 (r = 0.46, p < 0.05); VEGF and IL-17A (r = 0.45, p < 0.05); VEGF and IL-8 (r = 0.45, p < 0.05); PEDF and IL 17A (r = 0.48, p < 0.05); PEDF and IL-8 (r = 0.58, p < 0.05); IL-17A and IL-8 (r = 0.59, p < 0.05); IL-17A and IL-4 (r = 0.62, p < 0.05); IL-8 and IL-4 (r = 0.71, p < 0.01), and others]. The findings suggest an association between the development of local immuno-inflammatory and proliferative processes in the mechanisms of development of proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

CONCENTRATION FEATURES OF IL-10 IN PATIENTS WITH CHOROIDAL MELANOMA [№ 12 ' 2014]
The article is aimed to study the concentration of IL-10 in patients with choroidal melanoma. The study was conducted on 72 eyes of 36 patients with choroidal melanoma. The concentration of IL-10, as in the eye with choroidal melanoma, and the "health" of the fellow eye was significantly higher than the control group, p <0,05. Values of IL-10 when T1 and T4 stages of the process are significantly higher than control values, p <0,05. IL-10 in the tear fluid with localization in preequatorial significantly higher levels of IL-10 in the extensive zone and the level of IL-10 in tumor with preequatorial and with extensive zone localization process was significantly higher than the control, p <0,05.

SURGICAL TREATMENT OF EXOPHORIA WITH V SYNDROME WITHOUT HYPERFUNCTION INFERIOR OBLIQUES MUSCLES [№ 4 ' 2013]
Traditionally, the surgical treatment of patients with latent exophoria limited correction of deviation only horizontally to achieve ortoposition in primary position. Compass calibration in all positions of gaze, revealed exophoria complicated by V syndrome without hyperactivity inferior oblique muscles. Surgical treatment by vertical transposition of horizontal muscle action combined with correction of the horizontal deviation use median dublication, allowed to achieve stable functional result in a state of V syndrome.

INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTS OF THE EXCIMER LASER WITH A WAVELENGTH OF 308 NM ON SCLERAL TISSUE [№ 4 ' 2013]
The paper presents the results of experiments series using an excimer laser at 308 nm (KrF) to the scleral tissue. The main parameters of influence: the threshold energy density ablation, ablation rate. The comparative characteristics of the excimer laser with a wavelength of 248, 308, 353 nm were described. The optimal UF wavelength for effects on the sclera was determined.

BOTULINUS TOXIN "А" IN COMPLEX TREATMENT OF DRY EYE SYNDROME OF MIDDLE AND HEAVY DEGREE [№ 12 ' 2012]
We offer a treatment way of dry eye disease of average and heavy degree. Injections were spent to a circular muscle of an eye. We applied preparations "Dysport", "Botox", "Xeomin". In 89% of cases the positive clinical result has been received. The duration of positive result was 3–9 months after single injection.

CONTENTS VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR AND SEVERAL CYTOKINES IN THE VITREOUS BODY PATIENTS WITH PROLIFERATIVE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY [№ 12 ' 2012]
Conducted determination of the concentrations of vascular endothelial growth factor, interleukin 17A and 10 in the vitreous body of patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Found that in the pathogenesis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy activity of local immuno-inflammatory process (increased concentrations of IL-17A) and vascular proliferation (increased concentrations of vascular endothelial growth factor) plays significant role. Identified correlations indicate the relationship of these processes.
