VALUES OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS' READINESS TO STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY [№ 5 ' 2020]
The article analyzes the results of annual monitoring of the readiness of first-year students to study at the University. On the example of only one year, the questions typical for many higher educational institutions are identified. The results are interesting because they represent the responses of first-year students of the faculty of secondary vocational education and higher education faculties, indicating the perspective of the work of the teaching staff through overcoming randomness in the choice to form a stable interest in the future profession. The entire study is based on the basic principles of the axiological approach and allows to prepare an objective correction of the academic and educational process in an educational organization with a focus on the personal potential of a first-year student. The study focuses on several points — on the actualization, awareness and inherent worth of the teacher’s profession and his role in the professional choice of his students, as well as on understanding the value orientations of yesterday’s students who decided to devote themselves to the profession of an engineer or a teacher, an economist or a programmer, a psychologist, etc. Speaking about the values of modern education, many researchers pay attention to the need for proper professional orientation of school graduates. In the context of the pandemic, it has also become an urgent problem, since the distance of the educational organization from future first-year students has become significant. Nevertheless, students are making their choice now. What is the reason for this choice, what motivates the student, what values are most important for him on the way to entering the adult period of life and in the process of professional development, what role teachers, parents, friends play in his professional choice — all these are important aspects of the problem, which the article is devoted to.

THE VALUE ORIENTATIONS OF A FRESHMAN’S PROFESSIONAL CHOICE [№ 10 ' 2017]
Speaking about the current professional orientations of school graduates, it is often necessary to state that they have not only difficulties in choosing their future profession, but also with the course of education, which should become the basis of their future in general. The first-year students understand their future much later, often after graduating from college or university. A socio-pedagogical study of the value orientations of the professional choice of a freshman is called to help young people in the professional choice and determination of the basic directions of moral, spiritual and personal aspirations. For several years, in close consultation with scientists of St. Petersburg in the Orsk Humanitarian Technological Institute (branch) of the OSU and educational organizations of the city of Orsk, polls, monitoring, sociological questionnaires were conducted aimed at revealing the value orientations of high school and first-year students. The analysis of the results was based on the principles of the axiological approach, the emphasis was on the educational perspective and the search for life guides in the learning process. Based on the results of the work, it was revealed that respect from parents and others remains important, but the most significant are the prestigious profession, good earnings and future professional growth, in recent years there has been an increase in healthy pragmatism. In the course of study, it was possible to determine the stable values of the first-year student, to consider the specifics of the formation of the university educational space, in which, simultaneously and at the same time, two levels of education develop — secondary vocational and higher, to allocate the role of subject-subject relations in the process of training future specialists and bachelors. The use of tutoring technology allowed to methodically and accurately build an educational route, as well as a personal growth path for a freshman student on the path to mastering the secrets of the future profession.

THE EXPERIENCE OF THE REALISATION OF TUTOR COMPANIONSHIP OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN THE INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION [№ 7 ' 2015]
The reform of the higher education in Russia requires innovational approaches to the organization of education process. Federal State Education Standard of Higher Education aims us to this as well, and orients us to the principle of individualization, openness, and variability for all the participants. To create multiaspect education space a higher education institution needs a specialist, able to perform as a medium and systematizer of education space. A tutor can become such a medium. The article deals with the main notions of tutorship, the comparison is given between tutors of general education, secondary vocational education and higher education. It is noted that while speaking about higher education institution we can deal only with tutor position in the way of performing the tutorship by working educators and psychologists. The technologies are named which can be effective in the higher education institution — such as reflective ones, questionnaire technology, the technology of active listening, coaching and mentoring technologies. With the example of work of Orsk Humanities and Technology Institute (the branch of) Orenburg State University the developed and experimentally tested model in higher education institution is given which can develop in two ways — linear and vector (non-linear). The authors prove that non-linear model, based on the system "dean's office — curator — student" is effective in the sphere of social and upbringing work. The most effective is the linear model, based on the system "dean's office — teacher — student". It allowed to include a teacher as an educator-consultant as well as the tutor-mentor and tutor-facilitator and orient him to the realization of mentoring as lengthy process of concentrating at the professional and personal way of development of students and partially the tutor himself. During the process of realization of the tutorship model the definition of tutor competence was given for the first time which the authors agree to understand as the integrative quality of educator's personality, possessing the knowledge of psychology and pedagogics, having the skills of subject-subjective interaction in the society and practically realizing the ability to build the route of personal development of a student. Thus tutorship can be adjusted to the specific conditions of high school regarding the peculiarities of bachelors training in the higher education institution.
