Zhdanov N.S., Zhdanov A.A. UNIFICATION AND VARIETY OF THE DECOR OF PLATBANDS OF HOUSES IN SETTLEMENTS OF SOUTH URAL THE MIDDLE OF THE XX CENTURYIn this work at first the history of influence of unification on the Russian architecture in general and on architecture of "empire style" in particular is considered. Then authors paid attention to changes in the device of rural houses of the beginning of the XX century which were caused by scientific and technical progress. At considerable changes in rural houses the traditional design of a window with a sun blind, and also their decorative registration with use of national symbolics remained. These tendencies were characteristic and for rural construction of South Ural where there were five types of windows which elements underwent during the post-war period of unification. It was shown not only in use of windows of the identical size that allowed to organize mass preparation of construction designs, but also in production of identical decorative elements. As proof of a wide circulation of unification, authors give examples of windows from the different geographically far located villages and the settlements of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk region. National masters of this time addressed to heritage of the beginning of the century that allowed them to avoid monotony in composite schemes of registration of platbands. Studying of dressing of windows of the middle of the XX century confirms the thesis that our national art is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for national masters.Key words: unification of constructive elements, post-war rural construction, types of platbands, variety of decorative registration.
