Puzakov A.V. MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF WORKING CAPACITY AUTOMOTIVE ALTERNATORMaintenance operation of modern cars does not assume diagnosing of parameters of the automotive alternator, therefore, the exit it out of operation, as a rule, is sudden, and leads to essential losses of time. Lack of techniques of an assessment of a functioning state complicates timely failure detection of alternators; therefore, the purpose of work is establishment of interrelation between structural parameters of basic elements of the alternator with its diagnostic parameters. Based on the developed mathematical models the author proves direct dependence between structural parameters of stator windings and a rotor, the rectifier block and brush-holder and parameters of their working capacity. It is established that these structural parameters are electric resistance of windings, case and interturn isolation, semiconductor diodes and a site a brush-holder — an armature coil. The conducted researches allowed to prove quantitatively the ranges of electric resistance corresponding to operating state and characteristic failures of elements of the alternator. As the automotive alternator possesses the consecutive scheme of reliability, changes of above-mentioned electric resistance by all means will lead to violation of the size (form) of its output voltage, as critical diagnostic parameter. Therefore, the solution of a problem of forecasting of operability of the automotive alternator possibly at establishment of dependence between quantitative values of electric resistance of its elements and size (form) of an output voltage which can be estimated by means of an oscilloscope.Key words: automotive alternator, mathematical model, working capacity.
