THE BEST CLONAL APPLE-TREE ROOTSTOCKS OF THE VOLGA-URAL REGIONThe paper summarizes more than 30 years of research on the vegetative apple rootstocks that have been bred in the breed shed, the nursery, and in the garden in the Middle Volga and Southern Urals regions. The final evaluation of rootstock variety combinations has been given in the garden of the Middle Volga. The best form were half-dwarf rootstocks 64-143, Ural-5.Key words: rootstock, scion, cuttings, seedlings, productivity.
