In the psychological literature emotion, in this sense, is almost unexplored. Motivational dominant of the psyche is presented by needs mainly. Therefore, the analysis of motivational features of emotions is based on comparison with the needs. We consider the universal motivational role of emotions in the psyche and human behavior.Key words: emotions, needs, motive, motivation, emotional motivation.
