Tuhvatullina L.A. STUDY OF ECONOMIC AND VALUABLE FEATURES OF WILD ONION UNDER CULTURE CONDITIONS The article contains data on biochemical composition of leaves of 9 species and 1 form of wild alimental onions: Allium albidum Fisch. ex Bieb., A. altyncolicum Friesen, A. komarovianum Vved., A. ledebourianum Schult. ex Schult. fil., A. macrostemon Bunge, A. montanum F. W. Schmidt, A. ramosum L., A. cyrillii Ten., A. schoenoprasum L., A. schoenoprasum L. var. major. It has been discovered that leaves of wild onion contain high number of vitamin C, macro- and microelements, and other biologically active substances which is an evidence of high nutritive and vitamin value and prospects of these species in cultivation in culture.
