Mukhamedzhanova N.M. THE PROBLEMS OF MODERNIZATION IN POLYETHNIC SOCIETY The idea, that the main reason of prolonged and sickly modernization in Russia was limit heterogeneity of Russian civilization, asynchronism of local cultural worlds development which shown on all levels of social-cultural system, is proved in this article. The role of state in the processes of Russian society modernization, general principles of social-cultural politics of state power on the different stages of the Russian history are discovered in this work too.
