Sobchakova N.M. CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE FUNCTIONAL POTENTIAL, ETYMOLOGY AND SEMANTICS OF ENGLISH TEMPORARY UNIONS [№ 1 ' 2017] Dynamic character of the language depends on its system and subsystems, which are called central and peripheral. Field theory is considered to be the best for such study. Field approach, considering units of different levels, gives possibilities to study syntagmatic and paradigmatic peculiarities of these units. In Indo-European languages the temporary field is represented by grammatical tenses in the centre of the field and temporary conjunctions in its periphery. The conjunction in such case performs the qualifying function as it shows the relations between the main sentence and the clause. English temporary conjunctions not only show the relations between the clauses, but also specify the action of the temporary clause as preceding or following that of the main sentence.
Sobchakova N.M., Kostrova O.A. THE INTERACTION OF LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL CODES IN COMPLEX TEMPORAL SENTENCES IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH [№ 11 ' 2011] While describing compound temporal sentences (CTS) we usually take into consideration type of connection, meaning of conjunction, positioning of clause, usage of tenses and moods. For compound temporal sentences type of connection is usually defined as syndetic, the meaning of conjunction — as that of simultaneity or diversity, clause position — as variable, choice of tenses is not strictly regulated, indicative mood is believed to be natural. The interaction of all the factors mentioned above is not systematized.

Temkina V.L., Sobchakova N.M. TO THE PROBLEM OF SYNTACTICAL UNITS MODELING AND ITS FUNCTIONING IN THE SPEECH (ON THE EXAMPLE OF COMPOUND SENTENCE WITH TEMPORAL SUBORDINATE) [№ 11 ' 2005] The authors of this article regard opportunities variety of such functional unit as compound sentence with time subordinate; also they make an analysis of speech demonstration of this syntactical form. The variety both as insidelevel as interlevel is regarded here too. Different approaches to the problem of syntactical constructions modeling are analyzed in this article.
