ORGANIZATION OF AN ASSESSMENT ALPHA AND BETA DIVERSITIES OF NATURAL VEGETATION OF NORTHEAST PRIKASPIY [№ 4 ' 2017]
Development of a vegetable cover in the conditions of the seaside plain of Caspian Depression happens in the following sequence: the first settler on the slabozasolennykh sandy marches is reed, at bigger salinization — klubnekamyish, on saline soils reed and клубнекамыш are replaced one-year svedy. If initial salinization is very considerable, then becomes pervoposelenets солерос. In process of lowering of ground waters (0.7–0.8 m are deeper) he is replaced svedy or solyanka of soda which give way further to a frankeniya, an akmamyk, a fire, a tonkonog and a petrosimoniya. In the conditions of strong initial salinization of deposits of east part of the seaside plain by the pioneer in development of the territory is солерос. In process of depreciation in ground waters and a rassoleniye of soils it is replaced reed, light, сарсазан, and further — one-year solyankas of an izlaka (akmamyk iazhrek). Subsequently one-year solyankas are forced out biyurguny, and cereals — an ice-hole. Distinctive feature of a vegetable cover of Prikaspiya is its spatial heterogeneity — complexity. From the factors defining spatial distribution of vegetation leading moistening conditions, salinity and mechanical composition of soils, and also a relief are. Results field botanical researches in the territory of the State National wildlife reserve Akzhayik are given in this article. It is provided data of results of monitoring of a vegetable cover. Monitoring of biometric indicators of plants and an assessment of structure of vegetation on monitoring platforms and experimental sites on phytomelioration is carried out. The condition of a tsenopopulyation of vegetable communities is studied. It is revealed that growth of population of plants happens on all monitoring platforms in the conditions of a close bedding and salinization of ground waters.

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ROSACEAE JUSS FAMILY IN GARDENING OF THE CITY OF BUZULUK: BIOLOGICAL FEATURES AND ECOLOGY [№ 12 ' 2016]
Buzuluk is a major city of the Western part of the Orenburg region, its industrial, cultural, business center. As for improving the urban environment in the greening of the landscape is actively used varieties and species of the Rosaceae. The plantations were initially set to the extreme growing conditions due to the contrast in climatic conditions. Additional anthropogenic pressure from the city in the form entering the soil significant quantities of heavy metals worsens their overall condition and, as a consequence, plantations are becoming environmentally unsafe for humans.

MOSCOW AND ORENBURG UNIVERSITIES: JOINT FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH ON SOIL SCIENCE AND ECOLOGY IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE RFFI [№ 13 ' 2015]
In recent years the staff of the chemical biological faculty of the Orenburg State University in collaboration with scientists of the faculty of soil science Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov made for the following grants of the Russian Foundation for basic research: "The influence of physical properties and processes on the ecology of the humus of chernozems of the Urals", "Teplogeneratsii the basics of structure restoration and regeneration of degraded organic matter of soils", "Evolution of steppe chernozems of the High TRANS-Volga region under the influence of the Buzulukskiy coniferous forest" and "Post-fire transformation of the properties of steppe chernozems, their hydrothermal regime, natural vegetation and biological methods of restoring". Fundamental scientific problem, which unites all research topics, is the study of the mechanism of formation of soil structure and the role of soil organic matter, its composition in the phenomenon of structure formation. The main scientific result of the research became evidence of the leading role of amphiphilic properties of humus in the formation of stable and strong soil units, which largely determine the ecological functions of soils in the biosphere and soil fertility. Another result of the work four Ph. D. dissertations defended by postgraduate students of the Orenburg University content of work performed on these topics and a large number of scientific publications of different levels, 12 of which were published in the editions included in the citation systems Web of Science and Scopus.

EFFECT OF OIL ON THE CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF ORDINARY CHERNOZEM SOUTHERN URALS [№ 10 ' 2015]
The degradation of soils and landscapes is now a global phenomenon and is one of the main problems of ecology and soil science. Among the many factors of soil degradation is the contamination of its oil. The change of soil properties when oil pollution, as well as the processes of migration, accumulation and metabolism depend on the physico-chemical composition and amount of oil spilled, the soil-climatic and landscape conditions, soil type, availability of the different biochemical barriers, channels of migration and diffusion in the soil profile. At oil pollution is noticeable first of all change the chemical properties of the soil. The consequences of soil pollution by oil depends on the composition of hydrocarbons, its concentration and distribution in the soil profile, from the exposition period. A particularly negative impact on soil crude oil, which leads to changes in the chemical properties of soil and their strongest salinity. Oil contamination causes an abrupt increase in the content of organic carbon in soil from 3.5 to 9.8 % and contributes to the deterioration of the nitrogen regime of soils (the ratio of C:N ranges from 30 to 289) and the decrease in the content of mobile forms of phosphorus (average of 3.5 times). Soil pollution commodity oil (desalted and dehydrated) does not affect the acid-alkaline balance of the soil and crude oil causes an alkalinization of various degrees of soil solution that is depending on the oil concentration. Analysis of the aqueous extract of oil-polluted soils showed that when contaminated with crude oil dramatically increased the solids content, the nature of salinity is determined by the accumulation of sodium and chlorine ions, which is accompanied by a sharp decrease in the content of calcium ions in the soil solution.

THE EFFECT OF ASYMMETRIES ON WATERSHED AREAS VEGETATION COVER OF STEPPE OF THE URALS [№ 10 ' 2015]
Soils are a major component of the natural environment, and their properties reflect the complex interactions of the biosphere with the lithosphere. Soil processes affect vegetation and fauna, form a plant Association, the active form of the upper shell of the globe. For the Orenburg region one of the leading factors of soil formation which is a relief. Since river valleys of the Steppe near the Urals and their tributaries are characterized by a distinct asymmetry that is manifested in neravnomernosti interfluvial uplands, this in turn affects landscape complexes, which are formed on the slopes of different expositions. The paper presents the results of a morphological study of soil condition and vegetation cover of the Steppe near the Urals. The study was carried out in 2015 on the watershed plateau, Northern slopes and southern exposure. Thus, it should be noted that in the vegetation groups of the North slope is dominated by feather-grass vegetation, and on slopes South of fescue. The study of projective cover on the slopes showed that the slopes of Northern exposure have higher projective cover than the southern slopes, and is 75–80 %, 60–65 % respectively. This is also reflected in the ratio of underground to above-ground biomass on the Northern slope of the ratio of underground to above-ground biomass is higher than in the South.

SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE ORGANIC MATTER CONTENT IN THE SOIL IN THE CENTRAL CHERNOZEM AGROLANDSCAPES [№ 6 ' 2015]
The study of the organic carbon and CaCO3 distribution of in the 80 m long transect crossing the field of agriculture and forest belt characteristic of the age showed significant differences in the distribution of organic and mineral carbon profiles in chernozems under the arable land and in the vicinity of the forest belt. This is due to a dominant role in the formation of hydrothermal conditions of reserves and the content of organic matter in the chernozem and points to the importance of assessing the physical conditions that lead to the formation conditions of accumulation of organic and inorganic carbon in soils, determining the conditions for the functioning of soil biota in steppe landscapes.

FEATURES OF MIGRATION PROCESSES IN THE STEPPE LANDSCAPES SOIL UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF FOREST SHELTER BELTS [№ 6 ' 2015]
The study of the influence of forests in the steppe zone on the soil cover complexity formation is carried out by investigating the distribution of moisture and carbon organic matter and carbonates in the transect consisting of chernozems, underneath the forest shelter belts and under agricultural lands. It is primarily manifested through the formation of special hydrothermal conditions, arising under the forest belt, and entails the formation of stable soil properties such as organic carbon content.
