RETINAL AND OPTIC NERVE MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN DRAINING OF THE RABBIT EYEBALL POSTERIOR PART [№ 12 ' 2014] There was used a model of the optic nerve experimental neuritis accompanied by the introduction of methyl alcohol into the rabbit retrobulbar space. The enucleated eyeballs following the drainage surgery of the eyeball posterior part with the use of spongy allograft of a new generation were investigated by histological methods. It was revealed that the surgery retards the development of pathologic processes in the optic nerve and eye tunics.
Karushin O.I. CHANGES OF ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL DATA IN DIFFERENT GROUPS OF COMPARISON OF SURGICAL INTERVENTIONS FOR GLAUCOMA [№ 12 ' 2012] In this study there are represented the changes of the thresholds of electrosensitivity and electrolability in different groups of patients who underwent surgical interventions for primary open-angle glaucoma. The study showed that the combination of antiglaucomatous surgery with neuroprotective influence surgery is the best choice in the treatment of this pathology.
