The mechanism of formation of the regional competitiveness is described in the article in accordance with the theory of M. Porter. Regional competitiveness is considered as a system in which structure is allocated two levels. Categories of regional competitiveness, macro- and micro competitiveness of regions are given the author's definitions. The authors present well-known and author's classifications of factors of regional competitiveness.

General financial indexes of 15 biggest gas-distributing organizations in Russia are given in this article. Strong and weak sides, threats and possibilities of OAO "Orenburgoblgas" are revealed on the base of method of SWOT-analysis. Also the authors analyze other types of activity of other gas-distributing organizations (GDO) for introduction of practical experience in GDO of Orenburg region.

The article considers theoretic issues of diversification. The alternatives to the said process are revealed. Depending from competitiveness and profitability of a company, the goals at decision making are specified. Benefits and major problems at diversification are traced. A particular attention is paid to the most wide spread methods of product range analysis, both domestic and foreign. Diversification development stages are described. A detailed classification of this process is introduced, specific examples are given.

The problem of partnership relations foe agricultural enterprises are regarded in this article. Such approach provides satisfaction of consumers by means of more detailed and trusting relations, value orientation and enterprise value increase due to better methods of interaction with important clients and partners in agricultural business, than competitors have. The great attention is given to the chain of partnership relations with the most important clients of agricultural enterprises such as trade representatives, reprocessors and others.

METHODICAL APPROACHES OF EFFECTIVENESS APPRAISAL OF USING OF MARKETING FACTORS OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVENESS [№ 12 ' 2004]
Some methodical approaches to appraisal of effective using of such important factor of agricultural enterprises competitiveness as capital, which is regarded as marketing factor, repulsed intercommunication with market environment, are represented in this article. The author shows new direction in capital using by means of determination of enterprise potential opportunities or on the contrary, account of expense standards on ton of goods. The author offers to account through index of land capacity to general types of goods at basing of industrial activity of enterprise and its specialization. Besides, determination of fixed food tax is regarded as one of directions of cumulative capital using.

WORK MOTIVATION AS THE FACTOR OF COMPETITIVENESS INCREASE OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES [№ 8 ' 2004]
Authors offer the methodological approach to formation of structure of motivation on the basis of three groups of components: personal properties of workers, valuable orientations in sphere of labour activity; a concrete personal situation. Authors give the results of research of respondents from positions of an estimation of an economic situation and a various sort of motives of labour activity of workers of the agricultural enterprises and conclude that at preparation the reform of a payment the principle of evaluation of labour cost should be basic.
