Fedulenkova T.N. PHRASEOLOGICAL VARIANCE AS THE LINGUISTIC PROBLEMAs the linguistic problem phraseological variance has almost semi-centennial history. In the work various interpretations of variance of phraseological units in historical prospect are examined. On the basis of the analysis of the basic linguistic concepts the conclusion is made about modern condition of the problem of alternativeness in phraseology and its basic positions are defined in modern linguistics.
