The author speaks in the article that artistic education acts first of all as means of aesthetic education. The author describes in detail the means of artistic education (contests, competitions, encouragements etc.). In the article the analysis of the system approach with reference to artistic education is submitted and the system of the given education in high school is proved. The given system develops of the divisions interconnected among themselves which involves students in art activity.
