SUPERFICIAL THERMAL PROCESSING OF POWDER MATERIALS PRODUCTS WITH LASER HEATING USE Influence of laser processing of powder steel plugs on change of microhardness, hardness and intensity of wear process is investigated. Laser heat treatment gives increase in micro-hardness of a surface of powder materials in 2–2,5 time, hardness in 2–2,3 times, and intensity of wear process of a surface decreases in 3–5 times. THE THERMAL TREATMENT OF LOW-ALLOY POWDER STEELS WITH THE USE OF INDUCTION HEATING There are the results of studies of thermal treatment with the use of high-frequency heating of the powder iron-carbide low-alloy steels. The effect of temperature of heating under quenching, heat time under quenching and rates of cooling to the physicomechanical properties of the powder iron-carbide low-alloy steels is studied.
