MORPHOLOGICAL AND FUNCTIONAL RESULTS OF CENTRAL SEROUS CHORIORETINOPATHY TREATMENT IN SUBTHRESHOLD MICROPULSE LASER THERAPY WITH 577 NM WAVELENGTH (PRELIMINARY REPORT)The root of the onset and progression of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSR) is a series of disorders at the level of retinal pigment epithelium cells and choroid (hyperpermeability of vessels). The subthreshold micropulse 577 nm wavelength laser therapy is an effective and safe method of CSR therapy affecting all parts of the pathological process.Key words: central serous chorioretinopathy, subthreshold micropulse laser therapy, retinal pigment epithelium, hyperpermeability of choroidal vessels.
