COMPLEX SENTENCES WITH CONNECTIVE CLAUSES AND THEIR VARIANTS (BASED ON THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)This article aims at pointing out the complex sentences with connective clauses based on the invariant and variant approach in the contemporary German language. The author introduces an invariant, sentence models, their synonymic and prototypical variants. The usage of optimality theory items enables to reveal the optimal and agrammatical candidates of complex sentence models with connective clauses.Key words: complex sentences, connective clauses, prototypical variant, synonymic variant, optimal candidate, agrammatical candidate.
