Gorokhov P.A. ON GOETHE'S GNOSEOLOGY The article deals with the views of the great German poet and thinker on perception problems in their connection with gnoseological concepts of German classical philosophy. The author comes to the conclusion that Goethe's theory of knowledge is based on the recognition of superiority of intellectual - figurative perception and is closely connected with the basic idea of the thinker's world view- the idea of "efficiency".
