E.E. Morozova DYNAMICS ANALYSIS OF VOLGA POPULATIONS NUMBER OF RACE CRYPTO-CHIRONOMUS (DIPTERA, CHIRONOMIDAE) TYPES Season dynamics of larvae C. obreptas and C. defectus number from different Volga biotopes (river, lake, pond) is monitored during 1998-2002. Biotope distinctions of larvae number season dynamics consist in terms of season activity and in levels of types number. In the river and lake synchronism in larvae C. obreptas and C. defectus number dynamics changes without dependence from a degree of type domination in biotope is marked, in the pond synchronism of number is not revealed.
