THE PREREQUISITES FOR TRANSFORMATION OF RAIL ROAD AREAS IN MAJOR CITIES AND AGGLOMERATIONSThis article analyzes the modern urban situation in major cities and metropolitan areas in relation to the problems of transport-communication framework transformation. It considers prerequisites for modernization of railways in urbanized systems.
