HISTORY AND CREATIVE POSITION OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT CENTER "INDUSTRIAL ART"This paper provides a comparative retrospective analysis of the relationship of science, technology and art in Europe and in Russia in 17–21st centuries and gives justification of the scientific paradigm of modern design with focus on the development of regional cultures.
