Gorokhov P.A. REFLECTIONS OF DAVID HUME The article discusses some of the features of the philosophical doctrine of David Hume, which are particularly relevant in the modern era. The author concludes that the main attraction of Hume's philosophy is its anthropological focus. The thinker developed purely secular conception of human beings. Not only the deepest roots of the "philosophy of life" are grown from the legacy of Hume's pretty but modern psychology and ethics too. Key words: cognition, perception, impression, the principle of ideas association, philosophy of history, empiricism, "philosophical intoxication".
