THE INTERNATIONAL METHODS OF THE LEGAL PROTECTION OF FOREIGN INVESTMENTS The author gave the analysis of the contemporary state of the international methods of the protection of foreign investments. Special attention is given to the practice of the conclusion of intergovernmental agreements about the encouragement and the mutual protection of capital investments. The basic controversial points of applying the principle of international minimum standard are reflected, directions on the assignment of investment regimes are formulated.
