Musin D.Z. ROLE OF REPRESENTATION IN THE PROCESS OF PERCEPTION AT THE CONCEPTION OF M. VARTOFSKYThe main aim of this article is analysis of the concept of representation produced by M. Vartofsky, in particular the analysis of nature and models’ role in natural sciences, in theories of perception and cognition. M. Vartofsky names his conception as historical epistemiology which based on evolution of cognition methods in connection with changes of forms of social and technological practice.
