Savelyev K.N. "HISTORY OF VENUS AND TANGEYZER" BY O. BERDSLEY AS MYTHOLOGEME OF THE ENGLISH DECADENCEThe article is devoted to the problem of O.Berdsley`s mythological creative work in a context of the English decadence development of the end of XIX century. The author examines mythological components of O.Berdsley’s story "History of Venus and Tangeyzer ", containing decadent representations about synthesis of arts, about an opportunity of connection of visual lines, baroque refinement with a musical phrase and verbal painting.
