Influence of heavy metals on morphological features of lichens was studied for the first time in Astrakhan. Capability of heavy metals to collect in living organisms was elucidated in this article.

MONITORING OF LICHENS OF ASTRAKHAN BIOSPHERNYJ RESERVE ^{[№ 9 ' 2004]}
Lichenoflora of Biosfernyj reserve is investigated, with the purpose of preservation of a biological variety. 45 kinds of lichens is revealed, 9 from which are rare. 34 kinds are quoted for the first time for Biosfernyj reserve.

LICHENS IN ECOLOGICAL MONITORING OF ASTRAKHAN REGION. ^{[№ 4 ' 2004]}
This work is made on the basis of original materials, gathered in 1994 - 2002. All main districts of Astrakhan region were covered by route research during this time. Lichens in ecological monitoring of big and small cities of Volga's delta had been researched since 1996. The peculiarities of specific structure of lichens of arid zone, map - making of its distribution, zoning of indicated kinds of lichens were studied and the method of thallus's transplantation was used.
