Conception of religious personality of William James is regarded in this article. Relying on the materials of introspection — diaries, autobiographical notes of pious, religious mystics, ascetic and hermits James worked out the concept of the religious experience which covered all totality of religious feelings and emotional experiences, psychological condition of a pious on the whole.
