INCREASE OF COMPETITIVENESS OF CITIES IN RUSSIA ^{[№ 8 ' 2004]}
The pressing questions are considered in the article of the current and perspective competitiveness of a city. The author shows the major factors promoting increase of a level of competitiveness of the economic subject and directions of increase of competitiveness through management by its resources with peak efficiency. The necessity is proved of account of strategical characteristics providing competitiveness of a city, the author's list of the given characteristics is resulted.
