The data on the prospect of meat cattle-breeding development at agricultural enterprises of the Orenburg Region are given, proceeding from the results of successive innovation activity. By 2010 it is planned to increase the quantity of meat cattle in the region up to 92 thousand heads. The calculation of additional capital investments into meat cattle-breeding development in the Region’s farms for 2007-2010, as well as their recoupment is given,.
