FORECASTING OF ADHESIVE WEAR OF FACE MILLS ^{[№ 10 ' 2004]}
Physical-probabilistic model of adhesive wear process of cutter during operations of face milling are regarded in this article. There is offered calculation meaning of face mills durability according to criteria of maximum permissible wear of cutter back surface for different combinations of processed and instrumental materials according to cutting regimes. The experimental checking of this model was realized.

ESTIMATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS RELIABILITY OF TURNING OPERATIONS ON THE DESIGN STAGE OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES ^{[№ 9 ' 2004]}
The approach is stated to reception of aprioristic estimations of reliability of technological systems of turning processing details concerning a class of shafts, basing on imitating modelling of functioning of technological system by work of system of mass service. The decision of system of the equations is received, describing functioning of examined system of mass service in a stationary mode. The results are given of calculation of probability of non-failure operation of technological system of the turning operation, executed for conditions of working manufacture.
