ANATOMICAL ORGANIZATION OF THE LEAF EPIDERMIS IN THE SPECIES PERTAINING TO THE GENUS HOSTA TRATT ^{[№ 12 ' 2008]}
Features of the leaf anatomical organization in six species of hosts introduced in the forest-and-steppe zone of western Siberia were studied. Morphological description for the epidermis of abaxial and adaxial leaf sides is provided. The hosts were found to be characterized by mesophytic features of the lamina structure. It was concluded that the transpiration capacity of the lower leaf epidermis was 3-8 times higher.
