Having analyzed social work and character building experience accumulated by specialists of the Orenburg State university in development of students’ autonomy within students’ organizations we could make a conclusion on the efficiency of using university social and educational potential in development of the students’ soft skills.

QUALITY EVALUATION OF COMPUTER TRANSLATION [№ 2 ' 2017] The following article considers the issue of language quality assessment of machine translation owing to the growing internet-communication on one side and the inadequate research of automatic translation, that aren't currently inadaptable, on the other side. Such a study reveals key reason of machine translation's mistakes. This article attempts to examine strategy of interaction “human-to-machine” in the translation and to analyse translated texts of web-sites executed by automatic systems, based on linguostylistic analysis and automated language processing with the use of METEOR on the lines of N-gram. Case study shows that the largest number of mistakes is due to translation of semantic constructions. The practical implications lies in the fact that the development of a system of quality assessment of machine translation makes it possible to identify and to systematize any shortcomings of software with a view to further development, since the automation of translation has become crucial, allowing for the accommodation of a higher workload
Perekhodko I.V. LEXICAL AND STYLISTIC MEANS SERVING TO REALIZATION OF THE PERSUASIVE FUNCTION IN FRENCH POLYTICAL DISCOURSE [№ 11 ' 2015] The lexical stylistic means serving to realization of the persuasive function in French political discourse are under-explored province of linguistics. This inquiry helps to single out the most efficient ways to influence listeners; it also reveals national peculiarities of the ways of natural language argumentation modeling and persuasion. Examination of persuasive lexical stylistic means of French political discourse through heuristic-systematic model of Shelly Chaiken makes possible to differentiate between linguistic means of argumentation — i. e. the means appealing to intellect and logic, and means for persuasion via emotional appeal. The study also found that means of argumentation include sociopolitical vocabulary and terms, while means of emotional persuasion comprise lexical means (idioms, euphemisms, words with emotional charge, set phrases), stylistic devices (metaphor, epithet, comparison, hyperbole, litotes, personification) and figures of speech (rhetorical question, gradation, anaphora, epiphora,reiteration). Consequently, the ways of natural language argumentation modeling and persuasion are revealed in terms of the lexical stylistic persuasive means of French political discourse; it enables to select adequate translation transformation intended to ensure not only close translation but also reproduction of the speaker's emotional charge.

CROSS-CULTURAL ASPECTS OF STUDYING OF SEMANTIC SPACE OF TSVETOOBOZNACHENIYE IN THE RUSSIAN AND FRENCH LANGUAGES [№ 11 ' 2014] The article deals with the interrelation of language and culture; it is focused on national-cultural color naming specific character in the Russian and French languages. The material for research is represented by "color" component expressions taken from French-Russian dictionary with bulk sampling method. According to the conclusion of the article studying national-cultural color naming specific character gives a key to understanding peculiarities of a nation's cultural mentality which contributes to successful cross-cultural communication and is indispensible for adequate translation.
