Nurushev M.Zh., Baytanayev O.A. HOW TO SAVE THE SAIGA IN KAZAKHSTAN? [№ 12 ' 2017] This article submits the analysis of the study of the climate change and its influence on dynamics of the number of saigas in Kazakhstan, which appeared 20 thousand years ago as a mammoth and a rhinoceros. The analysis concentrates on the study of the climate change influencing the mass murrain of antelopes (saigas) from the beginning of a new century. Since the beginning of a new century their quantity has decreased by 3–10 times owing to two factors: epizooty pasteurellosis caused by the climate change and sharp reduction of a genetic variety. The environmental disaster connected with the mass murrain of saigas is caused by full insufficiency of information about the field of the wind (shifts) in the lower layers of the atmosphere. It is necessary to bring the Doppler-radar installation in the obligatory list of meteorological devices by the expeditious definition of distribution of the field of the wind (wind shears) in the lower layers of the atmosphere. Especially it concerns the regions of the way of migration of the population of saigas. Otherwise, environmental disasters due to the dangerous external influence of the environment — fields of the wind (shifts) will continue. In epizooty, the zone during one week had 3-4 norms of a monthly deposit, caused by the change of the western cyclone into the northern one. High humidity, the main factor of the murrain of saigas, causes anaerobic enterotoxemia and pasteurellosis.

SPECIFICS, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF STEPPE LANDSCAPE AND BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY SELF-RESTORATION ON THE TERRITORY UNDERGONE THE VIRGIN LAND CAMPAIGN IN ZAVOLZHYE-URALS ECOREGION [№ 11 ' 2017] The main results of research into the territory undergone the virgin land campaign in Zavolzhye-Urals ecoregion on the theme of title steppe species reaction on plough use sharp termination in large scale of square are given. It is ascertained that pennata and lessingiana feather grasses under conditions of 10 years long plough pause and seed base existence form a dense clump, that functions as a phytobase of secondary steppe ecosystem directing fallow land succession to secondary steppe and promoting restoration steppe species, especially title ones. Amid such ones we accentuate marmot and little bustard showing properties of aggressive intruder, which pioneer fallow lands simultaneously with feather grasses. Great bustard and saiga didn’t show such properties. Other species return on fallow lands in dependence on local conditions and factors. Within the region under research, about 300 thou ha secondary steppes are found, mainly in Kazakhstan. Earlier ascertained factors promoting plough pause and factors promoting fallow lands mass reploughing up even in chestnut soil subzone, first of all suitability for modern technologies, are refined. It is observed that the main arrays of the most technologically suitable fallow lands in the Northern and the Western Kazakhstan are virtually completely reploughed up, and one of the last refuge of fallow lands, including expanding ones, is saved in Preduralia where terrain is rugged. For such refuges we propose the principal scheme of fallow land selection aimed at forming and saving secondary steppes, and virtually no cost nature simulating technology of self-restoration. The series of proposals aimed at secondary steppes saving and rational use, including the “Orenburgskaya Tarpania” project further development, is given.
Nurushev M.Zh. REPRODUCTIVE BEHAVIOR OF ADAEV HORSES [№ 2 ' 2006] 100% fertilization of brood-mares at herd conditions of Aralo-Kaspy zone is conditioned by not only organization of copulation company on the base of knowledge of their reproductive behavior but biological peculiarities of stallion-kosyachnik. Knowledge of sexual behavior peculiarities of stud-horses and mares in coupling season allows to increase not only going out of foals but to regulate the period foals’ delivery.
Nurushev M.Z. PARENT BEHAVIOR OF HERD HORSES [№ 10 ' 2005] The role of parent behavior is established, as biological feature of mares, during preservation of a fetus, and in first days of its postnatal development. For the first time it is determined, that foals at birth have, at least, three congenital food reflexes, they are unconditional - reflex (instinctive), produced during evolution of sort Eguus.
Nurushev M.Z. FEATURES OF ADAEVSKAYA HORSE GROWTH AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF LEATHER [№ 9 ' 2005] During growth at herd horses each of tissue is characterized by various rate and rhythm of growth. At 3,5-years age at stallion of adaevskiy ecotype the maintenance of bones has made-17,0%, muscles of 77,8% and adjournment of fat of 5,2%. Horse skins of adaevskaya horses have a number of features, characteristic only for tanning raw material of this kind, being good raw material, in the shoe industry and manufacture of gloves.
Nurushev M.Z. ROLE OF HORSE BREEDING IN MANUFACTURE OF NON-POLLUTING PRODUCTS [№ 6 ' 2005] In Kazakhstan there are all preconditions on development of productive horse breeding in general and Adaevskiy ecological type of the Kazakh horse in particular. For the first time in Aralokaspiyskiy region the realization of selection works at a factory level is introduced into practice, with elements of progressive technology (cultivation on lines, families, formation of jambs, branding of young growth with liquid nitrogen, the breeding account etc.).
