EXPERIENCE OF GROWING APPLE SEEDLINGS CLONAL ROOTSTOCKS ON IN SOUTH URAL [№ 6 ' 2012] The article presents information on the cultivation of plants in the vegetative-propagated clonal rootstocks in the Urals. New clonal rootstocks differed increased winter hardiness, were sufficiently adapted to the conditions of the steppe and forest-steppe zone of the Southern Urals.

The increasing pollution of industrial emissions, traffic flow lead to environmental pollution and the accumulation of heavy metals in soil, leaves, wood and fruits. We found marked selectivity of certain forms of apple trees to heavy metals, a significant excess of the maximum permissible concentration.

BEHAVIOR OF CLONAL APPLE-TREE STOCKS IN MANIFOLDS AND NURSERY UNDER STEPPE ZONE CONDITIONS OF THE SOUTH URAL [№ 6 ' 2010] The article studies issues of growing clonal apple-tree stocks inside manifold of vertical layers, defines barking of sprouts, bush output, unit area output. Observations over seedlings growth have been kept on the I and II fields of a nursery. The promising clonal stocks have been marked out at the reproduction stage in 3 zones of operation: dwarf stocks — К-2, Ural 1, 76-23-2, Arm-18, Р-60; semidwarf — 64-143, Ural 5, 54-118; full-grown — 70-20-20.

PRELIMINARY APPRAISAL OF WILD FORMS OF APPLE TREE AND PEAR TREE IN LANDSCAPES COMPLEXES OF CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PART OF ORENBURG REGION [№ 9 ' 2008] The researched material of wild and become wild forms of apple tree and pear tree in different landscapes complexes of steppe zone of Euro-Asian steppe including urban conditions is given in this article. Observations were made at condition of plantings; harvests, size of fruits and seed production were determined to select forms for using as stock.
