WHAT SHOULD THE RUSSIAN ELECTORAL SYSTEM LOOK LIKE ^{[№ 2 (app.1) ' 2005]}
The article clears up the main notions and principles of the Russian electoral system. Electoral system is a legal election order of the Russian public authorities, federation subject, local authorities and officials. There are two different electoral systems in post-soviet Russia: majority system and proportional one. The author characterizes these systems, underlining their merits and flaws; and envisages future of the Russian electoral system.
