The paper considers the concept of creative activity, development of creative activity of students in the process of learning compositions at the artistic and decorative work class. It presents an educational program of additional education of children, its characteristics (artistic and aesthetic focus, variability, polytechnological features), the results of testing, evaluation criteria for children works.
