This article analyses the role of the cooperation in the South Ural social policy in the beginning of the XX century, its cultural and educational function. The author carries out an analysis of the socio-cultural activity aspect of the consumer’s and producer’s region cooperation, its role in social problems solution within the period of analysis.

COOPERATIVE LEGISLATION IN RUSSIA AND ON SOUTHERN URAL AT THE END OF XIX - THE BEGINNING OF XX CENTURY ^{[№ 3 ' 2004]}
In the article the legislative basis is considered of cooperative movement of Russia at the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century, set of the norms adjusting occurrence and activity of cooperative societies representing by self. The author analyzes legal aspect of functioning of the South-Ural cooperative societies, paying special attention on their charters as the basic normative documents.
