Drozdova E.A., Khokhlova D.Yu. EFFECT OF ANTIHYPERTENSIVE MEDICINES ON THE EFFICACY OF INTRAVITREAL RANIBIZUMAB IN PATIENTS WITH RETINAL VEIN OCCLUSION [№ 12 ' 2015] The article is devoted to an actual problem in ophthalmology — treatment of macular edema due to retinal vein occlusion (RVO). Systemic hypertension (SH) is one of systemic risk factors of RVO, and treatment of SH is carried out by different groups of medicines. Purpose: to determine the effect of antihypertensive medicines on the efficacy of intravitreal injection (IVI) of ranibizumab in patients with RVO. We investigated 48 patients with RVO, performed standard and modern methods examination, made of (IVI) ranibizumab according to standard. All patients had SH. 25 patients (52 %) had compensation of SH. Of all patients 16 patients (33 %) took for treatment of SH angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors), 9 (19 %) — β-blockers and calcium channel blockers. 23 patients (48 %) had decompensation of SH. Mean best-corrected visual acuity increased in patients with compensation blood pressure of ACE inhibitors: 0.5 ± 0.1 in group with nonischemic type and 0.12 ± 0.1 in group with ischemic type, and decrease of macular edema. ACE inhibitors increases the efficacy of IVI ranibizumab. The decompensation of SH may worsen the prognosis of visual functions, which need to be considered prior to IVI of ranibizumab.
Khokhlova O.S., Goleva A.A. THE PALEO-SOILS OF THE BORROW TOMB OF THE EARLY IRON AGE OF AKOB II IN THE AKBULAK DISTRICT OF ORENBURG REGION [№ 12 ' 2010] The authors carried out paleo-soil and micro-biomorph study of two large barrows in the tomb complex of Akob II. They established on the basis of the analysis of the properties of the soils buried under the barrows that both barrows are built in the early Iron age synchronously with the barrows in v. Filippovka, with what barrow 1 in the tomb complex of Akob II is built earlier than the barrow 2; paleo-climatic reconstructions are carried out. Climate was characterized by the increased continentality during, that precedes the construction of barrow 1, in VI — first half V v. BC. In the second-half of the V — IV v. BC. — the time of the functioning of the tomb complex of Akob II — climate changed in the direction of strengthening moistening and softening of the degree of continentality. Plant cover, according to the data of micro-biomorph analysis, on the surface of soil under barrow 1 can be characterized as the meadow- steppe with widely spread dry-steppe grasses, whereas vegetation on the surface of soil during the construction of barrow 2 was absent, probably, as the result of human activity with the building of barrows.

Khokhlova O.S. PALEOCLIMATIC RECONSTRUCTION FOR III THOUSAND YEARS B.C. ACCORDING TO DATA OF PALEOSOIL STUDYING OF BURIAL MOUNDS OF PIT CULTURE IN ORENBURG PRIURAL [№ 10 ' 2007] The results of paleosoils studying, buried under burial mounds of pit time near villages Shumaevo and Mustaevo in Orenburg region are regarded in this article. Reconstructions of paleoclimate for the time of pit culture development of the region – from 4900±350 to 4300±300 l.n. (cal VR) are conducted. It is shown that generally paleosoils developed in damp climate, and comparatively dry short-time period on the transfer from earlier to developed stage of pit culture was possible.
