Gatsu M.V., Gordeyeva M.V. FUNCTIONAL RESULTS OF THRESHOLD LASERCOAGULATION AT DIFFERENT SOFT MACULAR DRUSEN [№ 4 ' 2013] This study demonstrated functional results of threshold direct photocoagulation in eyes with different types of soft macular drusen. After 6 month-period of follow-up, the threshold photocoagulation of large soft macular drusen (similar to pigment epithelial detachment) leads to their regression, which is accompanied by increased retinal thickness and improved retinal sensitivity.
Gordeeva M.V., Gatsu M.V. RESULTS OF SUBTHRESHOLD AND MICROPULSE LASERCOAGULATION OF SOFT MACULAR DRUSEN [№ 12 ' 2012] This study demonstrated morphological results of different modifications of threshold green photocoagulation (direct, indirect) and subthreshold micropulse photocoagulation in eyes with confluent soft drusen. After 6 month-period of follow-up, there was complete or partial resolution of drusen in most eyes treated by direct and indirect threshold green photocoagulation. The subthreshold micropulse photocoagulation did not demonstrate clinical response. There were no statistically significant differences in visual acuity.
