In article the consulting phenomenon as specific type of the legal practice aimed at formation of actually necessary legal culture of society and the individual is considered. The author analyzes various approaches to this phenomenon (procedurally — functional, activity, professional, knowledge and axiological), placing emphasis on the valuable party of consulting activity in the right sphere.
