PREDICTION COMPENSATION OF INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE IN PATIENTS WITH PRIMARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA DEPENDING ON THE STAGE OF THE DISEASE [№ 12 ' 2015] Glaucoma occupies the third place in the world in the structure of causes of blindness after cataract and diabetes mellitus. Primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is considered as a multifactorial disease, the most important risk factor for the development and progression of which is elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). Prediction of compensation IOP in patients with POAG is important. Factors of IOP stability were determined and method for the prediction of IOP compensation depending on the stage of the disease in patients with POAG was developed on the basis of the dynamic observation for one year 150 patients with POAG using discriminant analysis. Observation included a comprehensive assessment of central and peripheral vision, eye and orbital hemodynamics, parameters of general hemodynamic, state of the system "lipid peroxidation — antioxidant protection", lipid profile and the affective-cognitive status of patient. The method presented in the article allows predicting a highly specific forecast (more then 90 %) about maintaining of intraocular pressure target level during 12 months of follow-up.
Soljannikova O.V., Berdnikova E.V., Jekgardt V.F., Tur E.V. FORECASTING OF DYNAMICS OF VISUAL FUNCTIONS IN PATIENTS WITH PRIMARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA DEPENDING ON THE STAGE OF THE DISEASE [№ 12 ' 2015] Primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is the most common eye disease with a progressive course even when the intraocular pressure, the main factor of progression of this disease, is compensated a large percentage of patients with glaucoma have deterioration in visual function. Forecast of changing of visual functions in POAG that are the most important component of patient's quality of life is a critical task. Method for the prediction of visual functions changes depending on the stage of the disease in patients with POAG who achieved "target" intraocular pressure was developed on the basis of the dynamic observation for one year 150 patients with POAG using discriminant analysis. Observation included a comprehensive assessment of central and peripheral vision, eye and orbital hemodynamics, parameters of general hemodynamic, state of the system "lipid peroxidation — antioxidant protection", lipid profile and the affective-cognitive status of patient. The method presented in the article allows predicting a deterioration or stable state of the eye functions in POAG-patients with high (over 90 %) specificity.

EVALUATION OF COLOR AND MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE OPTIC DISC IN NORMAL SUBJECTS AND IN PATIENTS WITH PRIMARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA [№ 12 ' 2014] This article describes a method for evaluating of colour grade and morphometric parameters of the optic nerve disc, which shows its state and the dynamic changes in primary open-angle glaucoma. This method can be used for patients' follow-up as a tool for objective assessment of the excavation and the neuroretinal rim size of optic nerve, as well as for control the degree of optic disc discoloration.

THE DYNAMICS OF THE MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE RETINA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER COAGULATION IN PATIENTS WITH NONPROLIFERATIVE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY IN TYPE II DIABETES [№ 12 ' 2014] Dynamic observation of patients nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy on the background of diabetes mellitus after laser treatment has allowed to establish a significant decrease in the thickness of the retina in 2 weeks with the prevailing trends persist up to 6 months.
Ekgardt V.F., Zvezdin J.N., Dashenko K.N. SPATIAL CONTRAST SENSITIVITY AT PATIENTS WITH DIABETIC RETINOPATHY [№ 4 ' 2013] Spatial contrast sensitivity at patients with not proliferative stage of a diabetic retinopathy and influence of laser coagulation of a retina on this indicator is investigated. Its decrease in process of progressing of a retinopathy and after panretinal laser coagulation of a retina and preservation after retina coagulation by a "lattice" technique is established.
Zvezdin J.N., Ekgardt V.F., Skrebkov A.I. FENOFIBRATE IN THE TREATMENT OF NON-PROLIFERATIVE STAGE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY [№ 12 ' 2012] There was investigated the effect of fenofibrat trajkor on eye functional parameters and hemodynamics in patients with non-proliferative stage of diabetic retinopathy. Established the increase of visual acuity, improvement of electrophysiological indicators, as well as optimization of the blood flow in eye vessels of the against the background of trajkor treatment.

ORBITOTOMIYA IN COMPLEX TREATMENT OF ENDOCRINE OPHTHALMOPATHY [№ 12 ' 2012] The paper considers different variants of orbitotomy in patients with endocrine ophthalmopathy, defines the indicators for their performance. There was evaluated orbitotomy efficiency from the position of cosmetic and functional result.
