ESTIMATION OF IMPACT ON THE INTESTINAL MICROFLOR OF BIRDS OF SUBSTANCES WITH ANTIBIOTIC, PROBIOTIC AND ANTI-QUORUM SENSING EFFECTS [№ 11 ' 2017]
The search for ways to increase the productivity of farm animals has always been one of the most important areas of research. Poultry farming was no exception. The study of new possibilities for using preparations of both synthetic and vegetable origin, consideration of their composition and properties, as well as investigation of the effects exerted by them on the intestinal microflora, will make it possible to avoid possible deplorable consequences for both poultry and human beings. Substances such as probiotic Lactobifadol, Biovit antibiotic and oak bark extract, in various volumes have both an overwhelming and stimulating effect on the intestinal microflora of the bird. Extract of the oak bark had a serious depressing effect on the intestinal biota of the bird. There was an obvious relationship between the increase in the volume of the extract and the degree of suppression of the intestinal microflora. The use of the probiotic Lactobifadol stimulated the quantitative composition of the intestinal microflora of the bird, however, when the probiotic was combined with the oak bark extract, the number of microorganisms in the sample was reduced. The use of antibiotic Biovit contributed to a serious inhibition of the intestinal microbiota of the bird. But when studying the joint action of the drug with the extract of the oak cortex, partial inactivation of the bactericidal effects occurred, as evidenced by higher values of the colony forming units (CFU), relative to the single use of the antibiotic.

EFFECT OF ANTIHYPERTENSIVE MEDICINES ON THE EFFICACY OF INTRAVITREAL RANIBIZUMAB IN PATIENTS WITH RETINAL VEIN OCCLUSION [№ 12 ' 2015]
The article is devoted to an actual problem in ophthalmologyš— treatment of macular edema due to retinal vein occlusion (RVO). Systemic hypertension (SH) is one of systemic risk factors of RVO, and treatment of SH is carried out by different groups of medicines. Purpose: to determine the effect of antihypertensive medicines on the efficacy of intravitreal injection (IVI) of ranibizumab in patients with RVO. We investigated 48špatients with RVO, performed standard and modern methods examination, made of (IVI) ranibizumab according to standard. All patients had SH. 25špatients (52š%) had compensation of SH. Of all patients 16špatients (33š%) took for treatment of SH angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors), 9š(19š%)š— β-blockers and calcium channel blockers. 23špatients (48š%) had decompensation of SH. Mean best-corrected visual acuity increased in patients with compensation blood pressure of ACE inhibitors: 0.5š±š0.1 in group with nonischemic type and 0.12š±š0.1 in group with ischemic type, and decrease of macular edema. ACE inhibitors increases the efficacy of IVI ranibizumab. The decompensation of SH may worsen the prognosis of visual functions, which need to be considered prior to IVI of ranibizumab.

SIGNIFICANCE OF INTRLERLEUKIN-17 IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF UVEITIS IN CHILDREN WITH JUVENILE IDIOPATHIC ARTHRITIS (JIA) [№ 12 ' 2015]
Uveitis related to JIA account for about 75š% of anterior uveitis in children. Uveitis is hard for the development of complications, which make up 40š% of cases and may lead to a reduction of visual acuity and blindness without treatment. Among the risk factors for uveitis related to JIA an important place is given the role of cytokines. Special attention is now paid as interleukin-17 (IL-17). It is known that the increase in IL-17 is observed in the articular syndrome of JIA, but poorly understood role of IL-17 in the development of uveitis associated with JIA. The study was conducted in the last 7šyears. Observed 143šchildren with a diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Uveitis developed in 63 (44š%). Uveitis developed in 25šboys (39.7š%) and 38šgirls (60,3š%). Inflammation in one eye proceeded in 29špatients (40š%): 19šgirls (65.5š%) and 10šboys (34.5š%). The process was bilateral in 34špatients (60š%): 19šgirls (55.9š%) and 15šboys (44.1š%). To determine the role of IL-17 in children with uveitis associated with JIA in children, we conducted a quantitative analysis of IL-17 in the serum of children suffering from arthritis with no signs of intraocular inflammation, and with diagnosis of "uveitis." A statistically significant increase in levels of IL-17 in patients with uveitis associated with JIA, in relation to the group of patients with JIA without uveitis, and in the control group (pš˜š0.05). Determination of the concentration of IL-17 in the serum of patients with JIA may be a perspective trend of early diagnosis of uveitis in children with JIA and development new treatments.

ESTIMATION THE BIOTOXICITY OF CARBON NANOTUBES USEBASEDLUMINESCENT MICROORGANISMS [№ 10 ' 2015]
Despite the fact that carbon nanomaterials (CNM) was opened thirty years ago, it is still expanding the range of their application, as well as the amount of research devoted to the determination of their biological effects. In the literature, are constantly emerging data about the possible adverse effects caused by the CNM, developing at different levels of the organization alive. Therefore, the study questions the potential risks of their use still seems paramount. A possibility to use for this purpose natural and recombinant strains of luminescent bacteria is very important. In this context, the aim of this work was to evaluate the biological effects of carbon nanomaterials represented 8šsamples and includes both single-walled and multi-walled nanotubes and nanofibers, methods of bioluminescence assay using luminescent recombinant Escherichia coli strain K12 TG1 with cloned luxCDABE genes of marine luminous bacteria Photobacterium leiognathi 54D10 marketed in a lyophilized form and natural strains Photobacterium phosphoreum-17 677f (based on commercial test systems "Mikrobiosensor-17 677f"). In experiments on E.coli CNM for compounds dispersed in distilled water, followed by ultrasonic treatment with EC20 and EC50 values were calculated fromš5 to 8šCNM. When used as Photobacterium phosphoreum EC20 values were established forš7 ofš8, and an EC50 ofš5 toš8 CNM. It was found that the natural luminescent strain Photobacterium phosphoreum in 17-677f characterized by severe and rapid response to the impact of CNM than recombinant strain of Escherichia coli K12 TG1. At the same time the details of the response to use the touch-term strains determines they are not mutually exclusive, but complementary use.

ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY OF STRAINS PROBIOTIC PREPARATIONS AGAINST TEST ORGANISM SALMONELLA ENTERITIDIS AND EFFICIENCY OF THEIR JOINT USE WITH ANTIBIOTICS WAS DETECTED [№ 10 ' 2015]
The result of the experiments was determined by antibiotic resistance and antagonistic activity of the strains entering into probiotic preparations in respect of the test organism Salmonella enteritidis and their possible combined action with antibiotics. The experiment was set in conditions in vitro. Against the background of antibiotic therapy in the treatment of various infections develop microecological bowel disorders such as dysbiosis. For the treatment of the effects of the most studied direction at the present time is the use of probioticsš— biological drugs based on representatives of the normal microflora of man. The feasibility of the simultaneous application of probiotics most used in clinical practice, antibiotics are currently the subject of discussion, as probiotic microorganisms are sensitive to many antimicrobial agents. In this regard, we have conducted the following studies and research to substantiate the effectiveness of the joint application of probiotics based nonsporeforming bacteria with antibiotics in the treatment of Salmonella infection in in vitro.
