Amshokova A.Kh. CHANGEABLENESS OF CRANIOMETRY FEATURES OF SMALL FOREST MOUSE (SYLVAEMUS URALENSIS PALL.) IN FOOTHILLS AND MIDDLE-MOUNTAINS ECOSYSTEMS OF CENTRAL CAUCASIA POLLUTED WITH HEAVY METALS [№ 12 ' 2009] The influence of technogeneous pollution on changeableness of craniometry features of a small forest mouse’s skull in foothills and middle-mountains ecosystems of Central Caucasia. Different adaptive reaction of animals happened from different high-rise levels on action of the same factor is revealed in this article. It is revealed that pollution in conditions of foothills leads to size decrease of a skull, but in middle-mountain ecosystems on the contrary such influence is companied with increase of craniometry parameters. |
