O.B. Ionaytis ANTHROPOLOGICAL IDEAS OF MAXIM CONFESSOR Anthropological component revelation in philosophic-mystical doctrine of Middle Age is complicated enough with methodological, terminological and cultural aspects of the epoch, which is far from us and not exactly understood. The example of that is the doctrine of Maxim Confessor, who is one of outstanding representatives of Byzantine philosophical and theological idea, the greatest mystic of that time, and who rendered significant influence on contemporaries and subsequent thinkers.
