Dymova I.A. THE SYSTEM OF CHARACTERS IN NEKRASOV’S POETIC SHORT STORIESThe author analyses 28 short stories to follow such a constant genre property as characters number. The stories analysis is carried out according to different criteria: antroponymy; main/ secondary/ off-scenic characters, its role in the plot dynamics; oral and portrait characteristics, dialogues, monologues and heroes participation in mass scenes. Nekrasov’s characters are regarded as a borderline genre: ballads and poetic short stories of the other poets in the middle of XIX century.
