Tumasheva A.G. FEATURES MINERAL METABOLISM AND BONE METABOLISM IN POSTMENOPAUSAL WOMEN The totality of the problems arising in postmenopausal women, the growing attention to the many allied health professionals. Hormonal changes the body due to the involution of the reproductive system is accompanied by changes in body composition and promotes the formation of post-menopausal syndrome. According to statistics about 10 % of the total female population today are women in the postmenopausal period. The most frequent complications in postmenopausal women include cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis (OP). The World Health Organization carried osteoporosis five major socially important human diseases, such as heart attack, stroke, cancer and diabetes. Health and social significance of OP acquired as a result of increasing the proportion of older people in the population and the high risk of fracture with little trauma, contributing to the growth of morbidity and mortality. So 22 % of the population of the Orenburg region left a woman older than 50 years. Calcium metabolism and bone health entire skeleton are controlled by parathyroid hormone which affects the calcium mobilization from bone depot and therefore regulates the level in the blood. Also on the calcium content of bone tissue affected and calcitonin secreted by thyroid parafollicular cells and estrogens stimulate calcitonin secretion. among postmenopausal women the major contributor to the emergence of their osteoporosis is the lack of estrogen and calcitonin. Thus, the relevance of studying the problems of the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of postmenopausal disorders of mineral metabolism and bone metabolism in the Orenburg region is not in doubt.
